Mission
To educate, understand, empower, and amplify the voices of the Deaf community by ensuring equal access to mental health care and driving systemic change through awareness, advocacy, and policy.
ListenUp plans on doing this through:
Addressing barriers that prevent the Deaf community from seeking mental health support—specifically the lack of public awareness and the shortage of specialized service providers (See 'The Story').
Providing a method to amplify underserved voices (See 'Initiatives').
Vision
A world where no one is denied or afraid of reaching out for mental health support due to a communication barrier- particularly hearing impairment.
